The project has been all successful and the impact is beyond expectation: the women have each mounted her own business which is flourishing according to the available data. The 30 women whom we grouped into two village savings and credit associations (AVEC) are growing financially independent especially as they can now easily access credit. We are happy that we succeeded to adhere all 30 beneficiaries to basic healthcare insurance. What is more interesting is that the women are now able to support one another whether it is in happy or in sad circumstances: they have formed a new family of their own while their dependents also fully benefit from this gained well-being. Thanks a lot to all of you for the effort and time you invested to achieve this great success!

WEC-Congo ontving op 27 november 2023 USD 4379.46 op de bankrekening van de stichting.
Met dit geld heeft de organisatie al een aantal activiteiten kunnen ontwikkelen:
1. Op 22 december 2023 hebben 30 vrouwen uit de sloppenwijken rondom de stad Bukavu die te maken hebben gehad met seksueel geweld een training kunnen volgen. Deze training was gericht op het aanleren van vaardigheden waarmee zij inkomen kunnen genereren.
