"Narges," a congenitally blind poet and Tehran Municipality employee, is transferred to "Baghcheh Havas" (Garden of Senses), an academy for blind youth, after her previous library closes. Determined to revitalize the center, she decides to offer English classes—an opportunity she missed as a child.
About 12 years ago, when I was a journalist for a newspaper, Narges was one of my subjects. After our interview, we became friends, and I was always captivated by her dynamic and inspiring personality. It fascinated me so much that I decided to make a documentary about her.
