Mitr Trust has been operating since 2005 and is an organisation registered as a trust under the INDIAN TRUST ACT 1860. It is run by Rudrani and works in Delhi to empower LGBTQ+ people. In 2021, they started a shelter home for Transgender people often known as Hijras. The shelter has helped around 5,000 trans people since its launch. Mitr Trust has also launched a modelling programme to support the dreams of trans hijras in Delhi and expose them to the fashion industry.

An observational and testimonial documentary that follows Rudrani and her transgender models from the moment she conceives the idea of setting up a model agency. Against all odds Rudrani becomes Delhi’s highest profile trans activist, launching the agency under the intense glare of national and international media. After much rejection and numerous setbacks, she gradually builds the business as she gets featured on the cover pages of national magazines, stars in a drama film and scores media work for other models.
