Release of the film on Storyville of the BBC was on May 23rd 2023.
We are currently looking for partners to broadcast the english version of the "Inside Kabul" podcast in North America. We are also looking for co-producers to finance the season 2 of the podcast.

Raha has arrived in France on April 25th ! We are very relieved and the donations through Sharedoc helped finance flight tickets and basic needs in her first days here. Thank you SO MUCH to all those who sent small or larger sums <3

After a few days in Paris, Raha and her husband travelled to the city of Strasbourg where they are living with a host family. Their little baby boy was born in a local hospital in June. The money gathered this summer has enabled them to ensure a minimum funding for the first months when they were not allowed to work yet (whilst they wait for refugee status) and did not have any social help. Money has also helped Marwa this summer, she has a grant from university, but this grant stops in the summer.

This Monday August 21st 2023, Raha and her small family have been granted asylum papers in France ! It's amazing news and she will now be able to look for work and be given some small social help every month.

We are continuing the work on procedures to help Raha's family and Marwa's dad out of Afghanistan where the threats to their lives continue. Both families have been involved in journalistic or political work that is putting them at risk. Money gathered now will help with the visas and flight tickets once we make progress with the procedure.

On March 8th 2024, the second season of Inside Kaboul podcast, called Outside Kaboul, was released on France inter radio. It tells the story of how Raha managed to flee from Afghanistan and of Marwa's first months in Europe, studying on HEC campus.

This Monday 10th June 2024, Raha's family - her 6 small sisters, her brother and parents, have been granted a visa ! We are thrilled ! And we are now in a rush to find 11 000 euros for flights. The family's visas expire on July 2nd, so they have to leave the country before that. Any money collected will help finance the flights and their first weeks in France. We are also collecting clothes.

We are still waiting for news for Marwa's dad and hoping he will be granted visa too. In the meantime, Marwa graduated from HEC on Friday June 7th and was chosen amongst 2500 students to give a speech. It was very emotional. Raha has passed her A1 French exam in Strasbourg. She volunteers in an organisation to help homeless.  She is hoping to be admitted in Sciences Po Refugee program next year.

The French version of the podcast will be broadcast every sunday at 3 pm this summer 2024 on France Inter and in English on the Radio France podcast plateform.

The English version of the podcast will be broadcast on Canadaland plateform from July 17th 2024.
